ROLLS ROYCE KRUG CHAMPAGNE DILIVERY VAN

ORIGINALLY A ROLLS ROYCE 1979 SILVER SHADOW II SEDAN, THE UNIQUE CAR WAS CONVERTED INTO THREE-DOOR PANELED COMMERCIAL VAN BY KRUG CHAMPAGNE, NOW PART OF THE LVMH WINE DIVISION, IN 1984. TWO SEATS ARE IN THE FRONT, FOR THE DRIVER AND A PASSENGER, WITH A HUGE SPACE BEHIND EQUIPPED WITH TWO REFRIGERATORS TO KEEP THE KRUG IMPERIAL CHILLED AT THE OPTIMUM TEMPERATURE. THE BODY OF THE CAR IS COVERED SPECIAL KRUG WHITE AND BURGUNDY COLOURS ALONG WITH THE ICONIC KRUG LOGO AND CREST. AS A REMINDER OF THE CAR'S PURPOSE, THE KEY FOB IS MADE FROM A KRUG CHAMPAGNE CORK. IT WAS SOLD BY THE VINEYARD A FEW YEARS BACK, BUT HAS RECENTLY BEEN REACQUIRED BY THE FIRM, RETURNING IT TO THE HOUSE OF KRUG IN REIMS, FRANCE, TO SERVE AS A MUSEUM PIECE.
